This past weekend Dave and I joined his extended family in a quick road trip down to Santa Cruz California to attend Chris’ (Dave’s eldest cousin) funeral. Chris life was celebrated through a paddle out and a very meaningful funeral service. The short weekend was filled with tears, memories, and hope of reuniting with Chris in heaven someday! We will miss Chris for his generosity, creativity, daring soul, and loving heart. We thank his family for the wonderful weekend they planned, and our hope is that God continues to bring them peace in the days that follow.
